Traffic Boxes Wrapped in History
A project of the Medway Historical Commission
The Medway Historical Commission embarked upon a project to bring history publicly to the forefront around town. Traffic boxes have become a new canvas for Massachusetts towns to display art and history. A number of traffic boxes in town were painted by local artists. The Historical Commission, with images donated from the Medway Historical Society, designed historical displays for six of the traffic boxes along Main Street. The display was installed on September 22, 2023. The locations include:
- Medway Community Church
- 184 Main Street
- Choate Park
- 57 Main Street (The Learning Tree)
- Corner of Main and Winthrop Streets
- 120 Main Street (Medway Block)
